Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals

Having your baby baptised (or christened, as some may call it) is a wonderful occasion where the Church receives your child into the Christian faith, into God's family and into the life of the worshipping community.

Please contact us if you would like to have your child baptised at St Faith's Church, or alternatively a simple thanksgiving service can be arranged.

Your wedding day is one of the most important events of your life. If you are considering getting married in church, we would love to explore it with you. Please get in contact with us.

You can also find out more about getting married in a Church of England church, along with helpful resources to help you plan your big day, at the Church of England Weddings website.

If you live in the parish and are dealing with the funeral of a loved one, we can help you make arrangements during this difficult time with compassion and understanding.

Meetings are held during term time and holidays. We are currently closed for the Summer break.

We are a friendly group, each week we have singing and a story, playthings, activities and refreshments.

We suggest a donation of £2 to cover costs. For more information, contact Sue on 01622 735504.

♦ St Faith's Hall - Ringlestone

Address: Corner of Chatham Road & Moncktons Lane, Ringlestone, Maidstone, ME14 2PY  [►map]

Ringlestone Hall
Ringlestone Hall

Somewhat unusually for most church venues, our church hall is not in the same place as the church itself but is actually 2/3 of a mile away in Ringlestone, in the middle of the geographical bounds of our parish. Note that the postcode (ME14 2PY) does not pinpoint the hall's location exactly so please refer to the map link above for a better guide.

The Ringlestone Hall is used regularly for informal and community access worship services, as well as by community groups for activities such as Pilates, Rainbows, karate and local entertainment groups. It makes an ideal venue for children's parties due to having both outdoor access and a large indoor space in case of inclement weather. Facilities include tables and chairs, kitchen with tea- and coffee-making facilities, male and female toilets, and a raised stage. In addition to the main hall there are smaller meeting rooms available in the back.

Parking: Plenty of free on-site parking. Please note that the surface of the car park is sand/gravel and may be muddy in places when wet.

Accessibility: There are several steps at the main entrance, and a single step at the side entrance which can be opened on request. The ladies' toilet indoors is accessed via more steps.
